Satiereal® is a novel extract of saffron stigma that was tested to determine whether it could combat snacking and enhance satiety and contribute to healthy weight management in a group of otherwise-healthy, mildly overweight women.

The women in the study recorded their experiences in a nutrition diary. They consumed either Satiereal® or a matching placebo twice a day. The Satiereal® group reported significantly lower snacking frequency after just 8 weeks of supplementation.
